At Cantalupi quality is everything. We place our custom lighting products through a variety of testing procedures to ensure the highest quality, certified marine lighting solutions possible. Our marine lighting products are fully certified by external laboratories which conduct the following tests:
Conducted emissions EN 60945 (1998)
to control the absence of disturbances to the lines they are connected to.
Radiated emissions EN60945 (1998)
to control the absence of disturbances to other devices even not connected directly (via radio).
Radiated interferences EN 60945 (1998) & EN61000-4-3
to control the resistance to disturbances produced by other devices even not connected directly (via radio).
Electrostatic discharges ESD EN 60945 (1998) & EN 61000-4-4
to control the resistance to ESDs either by contact or in the air.
Conducted low-frequency interference EN 60945 (1998)
to control the operating duration in presence of low-frequency disturbances on the power supply line.
Conducted radio frequency interferences EN 60945(1998) & EN 61000-4-6
to control the operating duration in presence of radio-frequency disturbances on the power supply line.
Compass safe distance EN 60945 (1998) ISO/R694
This test is simply used to determine the minimum distance at which we can place the device in operation by the magnetic compass without creating deviations when pointing to the North.
