Evolution of LED Lighting
The true nature of a custom marine lighting system is not to be found in the power of the bulbs. Pure wattage is often, quite to the contrary, a Designers worst enemy. For years, the Cantalupi Research & Development Centre has worked with the goal of taming the illuminating power, to make a yacht’s lighting system controllable by choice. Lens and reflectors shape analysis, in the right hands, allows for infinite variations, all of which are possible because Cantalupi internally produces custom lens and reflectors, using a proprietary software specifically developed for optics design and light output simulation. We are not only boosting the power of LEDs with our CNT Technology but also controlling their angle of diffusion, thus, allowing for even light distribution within its cone. With Cantalupi’s vast background and experience in LED Lighting we are able to create a truly custom lighting approach for any yacht.
